Nor Cal Broadband is a high-speed internet service provider located in the Foothills above Sacramento, specifically in Newcastle . Our clients receive a broadband internet connection from one of the many towers in the area upon which our Motorola Canopy equipment is installed. All that is required to receive the service is a direct line-of-sight to one of the towers, commonly referred to as Points-of-Presence, or POPs, and a small Subscriber Unit mounted on the exterior of your home or business. Ethernet (Cat5) cable from the Subscriber Unit carries the high-speed internet connection to any number of computers in the service site, and all computers may share the internet connection simultaneously, without tying up a single phone line!
