Receiving our high-speed internet service requires a connection to one of our local tower sites, and excessive trees or a large hill can defeat the tower signal. Please request a free Line-of-Sight Survey!. Fill in the survey request form with all pertinent information. Once submitted we will review your request and contact you within the next 48 hours. You can expect to wait 2 to 3 days for the survey to be completed.
A technician will inspect the service location, utilizing our lift truck, and perform any on-site tests required with no charge or obligation to you. We generally require between 2 or 3 days to complete a survey once a request is submitted. We will contact you as soon as we know the results.
● A surveyor will drive a Lift-Truck to the requested service location, boom up, confirm line-of-sight and connectivity.
● A customer service representative will notify you as to whether or not your location is eligible for service. If you are eligible for service the representative will discuss your specific placement requirements, as well as all costs associated with Installation,
initialization, networking, and monthly usage fees. Payment for Initialization fees, Additional Network hardware, and any requested custom installation or network configuration will be due at the time of the installation, however, bandwidth fees will be billed on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis.
● Company policy requires that you or a responsible party are at the service location for the duration of the installation, which in most cases takes between two and four hours.
● The installer will mount a Motorola Canopy Subscriber Module as required by the line-of-sight survey. From the Subscriber Module a CAT 5E wire will be run on the exterior of the structure to your computer, router, or network switch. The installer will then penetrate the wall and insert the wire. After the wire is inside the service location, the installer will install a faceplate, which connects to a Power supply that will send power to the subscriber module, and the internet to your computer or network.
● The installer is responsible to get one computer online. If he confirms internet connectivity through our system and is unable to get your computer online, the installer will notify a computer technician who will come to the service location and attempt to rectify the problem. If the problem is due to your computer or network hardware, additional charges may be incurred.
● If you have requested installation of additional network hardware, a computer technician, not the installer, will complete the installation at the time of the installation, or a scheduled time more convenient for you.
● The installer will give you E-mail instructions, a copy of the Terms and Conditions for use, a Motorola Rebate Form, and a sign-up sheet where you will officially “Sign-up” for service and request additional e-mail addresses, select a payment plan, and select a bandwidth package.
